On the Field for Practice – 12/17

I really didn’t know what to expect from today’s practice. Part of me expected to go out and find the guys listlessly shuffling around the practice field, another part thought they might be unusually fired up and loose with nothing to lose. The truth, as it tends to be, fell somewhere between the two. It was another day at practice. It looked, again, like a good one, and lots of guys were in a notably boisterous mood — “a fantastic practice,” Todd Yoder called it afterward — but if I was expecting something dramatic to have changed since Cincinnati, it wasn’t there.

  • I tried to pay particular attention to see if there was any difference in the way players were interacting with Coach Zorn following Monday’s press conference, but, really? Not so much. And I mean that in a good way. The relationships still looked as solid as they did early in the season — above is a picture of Zorn discussing a specific pass route with Santana Moss, a conversation that went on for a few minutes and appeared to engross both sides equally. Zorn also chatted amiably with the quarterbacks, the other coaches, and plenty of other players. So nothing too unusual there.
  • One of the things the coaches were emphasizing on the field was a “sense of urgency,” and it seemed to be present. People were moving quickly, still running between drills, and — much like last week — there seemed to be a feeling of relief just to be back out on the field.
  • Defensive end Rob Jackson was the recipient of some praise for his work on the practice squad, and he seemed to be making decisive moves and generally getting into it every time I looked over. He’s someone I’d like to get a good look at in more game situations before the season ends.

santanaruns

  • Sometimes, even when Jason Campbell is throwing the ball well — and he was, today — even in practice you can see where something wouldn’t have worked in a game situation. For example, today Campbell put a pass where Moss really had to stretch out for it coming across the middle of the field. Today? Goes in my notebook as “spectacular 89 catch.” On gameday? Probably something more like “Moss gets hung out in the middle of the field and annihilated, doesn’t get up off ground for seven minutes.”

hortonwashington

  • Yep, that’s Chris Horton AND Marcus Washington, both with helmets, both back involved in practice. Horton seemed to be going at 100%, but Zorn described Washington as moving “gingerly” and noted that it looked like his first day back. I did see him get winded at one point, but it was still good to see him out there.
  • With Pete Kendall taking his usual Wednesday mental reps, Chad Rinehart got work at left guard, and seemed (as best as I can judge such things) to be holding up his end well. This also meant that the left side of the line looked much younger — with Rinehart in for Kendall and Stephon Heyer in for the injured Chris Samuels — which felt somehow promising for the future.

dbacks06

  • Did I mention that some of the guys were in a boisterous mood? Can you guess if that included the defensive backs? Fred Smoot was in full voice, yelling incomprehensibly every time someone made any kind of play, and Carlos Rogers seemed to pleased to be back out working with the first team defense.

aloha

  • At one point, with Pro Bowlers Clinton Portis and Mike Sellers lined up together, someone from the sidelines called out, “Watch out for the Aloha Backfield!” Nothing of any note happened on the play, but I liked the name and figured I’d pass it along.
  • Speaking of Hawaii, Colt Brennan got just his usual small amount of work with the scout team, but he did make at least one gorgeous pass in there, a perfectly-placed rainbow that dropped in over the coverage to Horace Gant. He had other, less-impressive passes as well, but the nice one drew compliments from all over the field.

coltclinton

  • Oh, and Coach Zorn went entertainingly third-person in his press conference after being asked what his wife Joy thought of him feeling like the worst coach in America. “She’s always supportive of the Z-man. She’s always lovin’ me up. Oh, yeah, she’s always lovin’ me up. She’s a good lady, she really is. I’ve been married 29 years, she knows me. And she knows I have some resiliency too.” Zorn’s post-practice press conference went on for longer than his last few, and it was good to see the coach back to his usual chatty ways.

  1. Glad to see JZ spirits back up, we all get down, its what we afterwards is important!

  2. go skins….we die hard, together

  3. matt- pass this on to zorn. u have 3 great backs in portis, betts and rock. how bout we use one or both in a scheme with portis. someone has to cover them if they go out on a route. probably a linebacker or safety. this would open up room in the middle for moss, cooley, randel el etc.. if it’s a run play u could fake to one and go to portis or just give it straight to portis and us them for blocking or a distraction

  4. ‘Skins forever….Keep your chin up JZ!!!!!

  5. It seems like all the practices are great and hopeful yea I bet. They end up in loses the past 5 outa 6 weeks. So how do you classifie a good practice.

  6. you know by posting a picture of Colt Brennan will only result in this story being turned into a JC hate club and Colt Brennan lovers paradise

  7. Travis Evans: I’ve discussed this a few times, most recently here: http://theredskinsblog.com/2008/12/17/wednesday-december-17-talking-about-practice

  8. Matt if you ever can you let Jim Zorn know he’s got some fans behind him. I think if we let this guy stay we’ll get something special from it.

  9. rob jackson needs to start

  10. That’s right. Redskins till the end. Win or Lose. HttR.

  11. Hi Matt,
Thanks for the medium news ;-)

    OK- I’ll bite.
Stephen Riley- which one are you?

Why do things have to be “for and against” members of the SAME TEAM all the time? How about a win-win attitude?
The Redskins could benefit from goodwill – on the playing field, from the stands and on the Net. Let’s just think good, supportive, Redskin thoughts and see how they do against the Eagles.

    HAIL!

  12. LizKauai,
It’s like that liz cause fooball is a nasty violent game. There is no nice nice happening on the field or off This coming from a haole that played and graduated from Kapaa HS. The fan base is deeply divided into yhe JC an Colt camp. Hell, Stephen and I have the same last name and are probably distantly related and we are certainly divided on this one. It’s all good!
FYI, and Cuz you will love this. COLT WILL NOT PLAY THIS YEAR! It’d be suicide for JZ to have him come in and throw for 300-400 yds and a few TDs a game. Fans would scream! “Why the hell wasn’t he in there sooner?” It would be heard all the way to Kekaha! If he come’s in and plays like JC, and JC does SUCK, (for the life of me I can’t see what anyone see’s in this pathetic excuse for an NFL QB) Those of us in the Colt camp would never here the end of it. One goal, 2 different schools of thought on how to get there. Better to let JC stink up the joint so a legitamate QB competition can take place next year. Does that answer your question?HTTR!

  13. I want to win now! The problem with a lot of coaches, they make a decision early in the season and think they have to stick with “their guy” the whole year. If they change up and put in a second stringer mid season that is playing better, their ego gets in the way because now others can say you made the wrong choice. It is so funny how the NFL wants the biggest baddest strongest quarterbacks, but I would pick one that can read defenses first and foremost before anything. Look at the Raiders team and you get my drift. Like everyone in Hawaii would say last year “In Colt We Trust”. Enough said!

  14. Chad are you getin off brennan?

  15. Matt can you please do a contrast of the teams outlook of the future and now.

Plus a litle more Brennan please. The Brennan bandwagon is starting to pass JC’s.

  16. Travis,
NEVER EVER EVER! I just Know our best shot is to let JC play his way out of a job! You know where my loyalty lies! Too much pride at stake!

  17. got news for you people Colt isn’t gonna look any better on his back than JC does!! Campbell is not the problem!!!!! Fumbles, Drops, stupid penalties… Colt being at QB doesn’t stop Sellers from handing that ball of on the goal line.

  18. Jeff,
You have to listen to people like Trav! He’s an expert at the highest level. He picks up on the blog with the same rant day after day after day after day…

  19. I have to agree…nothing new. Sam ‘ol CB crap every day….

  20. So funny Colt is so good that he is going to jump from a #3 gameday inactive QB past the #2 QB and start in the NFL all b/c he looked ok in a game against UPS drivers in August. Even better our O. Line will get ten yrs younger, we will get a pass rush and game changers on defense, Cooley, Portis and others will stop fumbling, WR’s will stop dropping balls that hit them in the chest and the team will stop getting penalties every time we cross the 50. Oh yeah we won’t take meaningless timeouts to come back with a wasted play. Why? b/c Colt is in the game. God Bless America

  21. If campbell hadnt of got hurt last year the skins would have lost their last 5 or 6(whatever it was) games OH HOW HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF

  22. There can be JC fans who are ALSO CB5 fans!! I love em both. I love the whole team!!! Yes winning is important but so is sticking together (sounds gay, I know). Skins fan for life! HAIL!

  23. Real simple solution: Cambell needs to be benched, it should of been done, 5 games ago. It is his fault, holds the ball too long, has the ability to scramble but he does not. The offense is too talented and Zorn plays are good for cambell not to be productive. He is an inconsistant qb, and if he cant get done, he needs to hold a clip board. He should take a couple of lessons from Matt Freaking Ryan!

  24. Hey Matt,

You used to be able to click on the photos for a larger version…did you take out the linkage on purpose? I used to open them up and save em’….

  25. Hey Matt,

You used to be able to click on the photos for a larger version…did you take out the linkage on purpose? I used to open them up and save em’….

  26. Is it possible Zorn is just micro-managing the team right now? I mean a three minute converstion about a route? Come on! It’s Tanaman!

  27. DCHogs77,
Sounds good to me… can’t wait for all that to transpire… Colt should start ASAP. Oh and yes, “God Bless America.”

  28. MATT, when you say Colt got his small amount of work with the scout team, does that mean he does not practice a lot?

Best post I’ve seen on here in quite awhile.

  30. Like John Madden said about Colt, “he brings a certain… energy to that team.” This “energy” might account for why DCHogs77 is exclaiming that the “O. Line will get ten yrs younger,…” I say, “start him against the 9ers because we all need to feel that energy.”

  31. He won’t start. In college you would have seen a change. Because trhey play their heart out game in game out. Because they know losing a game or to can put you out of the BCS.

Zorn won’t make the change he is to scared. They benched Mattt Lienert and Vince and Tavaris who all are better than JC.

    Zorn youre a *****

    HTSKINS67, on

Hey liz i am a strong supporter of the Redskins and JC as of now, hes our best bet to win, not Colt, as of now, in a year ill make my desicion, that is of course JZ and things dont change

  33. NA NA NA Hey You suck! Although I do hope you beat the eagles this week. Man you know the season is over when the bengals beat ya. As Fed Ex field is screaming every home game NA NA NA Hey you suck! Have fun watching the playoffs at home with your beloved foreskins!!!!

  34. HTSKINS67, youre right we do differ on many things about the starting QB and the team, as a former college player, the last thing i wanted while played was CHANGE. the teams that have succeeded the most in the past are the ones that lacked change, it took Bill Cowher 14 years to win a Super Bowl. I know i am concratidicting my self but at time change is necessary, like Tampa in 2002 acquiring Gruden and winning it all. But if the past serves me correctly, the Redskins have changed some aspect of the team once or twice every year since Snyder bought the team, i.e. QB change, Head Coaches, Offensive/ Defensive coordinators high priced veterans, etc. i feel the best way to succeed is to tweak the roster a little bit, keep the system the same and let the players learn it for a year or two. changes are dooming the redskins. Not only has it destroyed continuity with the Redskins it is also dooming the Lions and the Raiders. Now you might say that these team blow, and they do but its not becuase of the players, its the constant change the orginizations go through to win instantly. Instant success is hard to come by and even harder to predict. calling for change wont bring instant success to the Redskins, as we have seen in the past, change only leads to another sub par season and/or losing record. The smartest/worst move Mr. Snyder made was hiring and then firing Marty. He wanted “The Ole Ball Coach” for instant success and then proceeded to send the skins into a spiral of decent towards suck. Gibbs righted the ship but started to sink it during his 2006 campaign with the hiring of Saunders. Gibbs retireing and firing Williams and saunders was a blessing in disguise because look at their respective teams offense/defense. They both are struggling and doenst look like they will return to those teams. the hiring on JZ is a good move and he needs time to implement his system with the players he chooses to run it. he has seen what JC can do and the potential he has, that is why he is sticking with him and not benching him for Colt. He was very critical of Colt in the preseason and rightfully so. Now impatience is not a virtue, patience is. give this thing time to develop. I am a die hard Redskins fan and as a fan i am tired of all the change only to see the team struggle with a new “this” or a new “that.” This team needs continuity and not a change for instant success, which has doomed this team in the past.

FIRST OFF YOU MUST NOT HAVE A LIFE! FOR YOUR RETARDED ASS TO BE HERE ON OUR BLOG SITE MORON! IF YOUR A DALLAS OR NEY YORK TEAM HEY NEWS FLASH YOU WONT MAKE IT TO THE SUPERBOWL!

  36. see this is my point of view of it (Stephen) when you see players like MATT RYAN and BIG BEN on there first years as rookies succeed you suspect thie franchise to find an elite QB JC is not the answer now for a fact I dont know if CB will be the answer either but as I saw from a post up top start him against the 49ers and see what the kid got! It doesnt matter what type of pride you got sometimes a QB change is a good thing look at the Titans (before loosing a couple games)

Or another idea could have been that we use Collins after loosing against the Steelers. Now I know most of you might say but in practices he doesnt look good bla bla bla bla but reality is no1 last year including myself thought Collins would have came out with a bang he got us into the playoffs! UNLIKE CAMPBELL he ran the ball he thru beautiful passes and he sure as hell scored more than 10pts a game!

Point Blank: Start Colt last game see how he does let him feel the NFL rush and develop his skill from there.

  37. Danny point blank Collins was in Saunders offense for the past 8 years so he knew what he was doing. he was a back up to trent green in KC. Like JC, Collins had to learn a totally different scheme and offense in the WCO rather than the feild expanding offense of Saunders. All three had to learn it, JZ chose JC beause of his coachability, Colt may be the solution years from now but likely wont see any playing time this or maybe next year. 2006 fans called for Brunells head and got Campbell, now fans want Colt and are calling for Campbells head. Fans want instant success and wont wait for things to develop.

  38. Stephen see thats were you are wrong yea most of us did want Brunells ass out but hello the man was old he was slow to run! but one thing Brunell had that Campbell doesnt is “no fear” remember the game against Dallas when he just bombed them to passes to Moss? Campbell doesnt have that fire never will! You wanna know why fans want instant success ill name a few good reasons why Matt Ryan, Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Big Ben, and Tom Brady all these guys here are playoff teams in there rookie-4yrs in the league have been either to the playoffs more than twice or have won a SB!

In Campbells case he doesnt have it in him! HE is not or never will be a SB caliber QB. There is just so much our D can do and when it is time for the O to show our D some thanks they mess it up!

O and for the Collins thing no1 last year thought he was goin to win every1 thru last season out the window like this year cept’ this year we know we not goin. We all thought man we had a chance and dont now and what did Collins do win 5 in a row and took us to the playoffs. You never know what will happen with what you got till after you have tried it.

  39. The problem with the Skins nation is our pride but im glad that I am different then most of you guys I am REAL when it comes to what I see. Like they see to believe most of you still dont take that into effect seriously pitty on yourselves for that. CAMPBELL is not a Redskins QB 4years here and no production. honestly let be honest if Collins wouldnt have taken over for the last 5 games we sure as hell wouldnt have gone to the playoffs due to the fact that our “beloved” QB doesnt have killer instinct. HE IS NO DOUG WILLIAMS AND NEVER WILL BE! I will say this like i have been saying it since our lost to the Steelers JC is not the QB for the REDSKINS POINT BLANK

  40. The problem with the Skins nation is our pride but im glad that I am different then most of you guys I am REAL when it comes to what I see. 41. No one ever said that JC was Doug Williams, but give him time in the same offense for a year or two and i bet you that he will be up there with him.

  42. NO WAY! you are outta of your mind you really are he was a “Joe Gibbs Project” he had 3yrs to learn n didnt real talk the guy isnt ready at all he might be at the end of his career like Stewart or Banks but the speed the NFC is playing out they need to pick up the speed if not they will end up as the Raiders or Chiefs of the NFC

  43. DANNY YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are blaming Jason for the redskins problems. WOW!!! In a TEAM SPORT, one person never looses a game. You are just like the rest of the bandwagon redskin fans. When the team was winning, you applauded but now that the team is losing you point the finger at the player the QB. How do you know what type of fire he has? Just because a person doesn’t jump up and down ranting/raving and cursing/hollering doesn’t mean that they don’t have the fire you speak of. You can perform all of those antics and still not have that fire you think Jason is missing. Keep in mind that there have been quite a few successful players (from all sports) that were not RAH-RAH guys. You remind me of a KID that something is never their fault but someone else’s. You are not stating facts but instead you are giving your bias opinion. Its easy to blame someone whom we don’t like. As for those other QB’s, again I tell you FOOTBALL IS A TEAM GAME so they didn’t accomplish anything alone. Does O-LINE, WR’s, TE’s and RB’s sound familiar? Football isn’t tennis clown. FANS LIKE YOU MAKE ME SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As for Collins he should have done well in a system that he played in for 8-9 years. DUH!!! Colt isn’t as good of a QB that everyone seems to think. He has a long way to go. He may get there someday but today is not the day. He is at least 3-4 more years away from being an NFL QB. To all of the real skins fan, I am upset as well about our season but I believe we are on the right track FINALLY!!!!! I don’t like the west coast offense, never have and never will but we need for our players to stick with this offense. Even though I don’t like a lot of things that Jim Zorn has said/done this year, I believe that we should bring him back. He can only get better and I believe he will. Any problem that we have starts at the top so to Dan Synder and Vinny Cerrato speak positive about your coach and let it be known that he will be back. Stop all this we have to evaluate things talk. I have said this before, WE DON”T NEED BILL COWHER OR ANYONE ELSE!!!! Think about the players, franchise and fans instead of your pockets Dan. Hiring anouther coach sets up back again. What ever free-agents you bring in, please make sure they are not JUST after the money. They have to understand that the team comes first. You guys are probably going to bring in 6-11 new guys this year through the combination of free agency and draft. Make sure that they are better than the players you release. We can’t afford mistakes this year.

  44. Hail Alou, did you read my comment i made earlier, i share the same thoughts as you.

    Hail!

  45. Travis Evans,

Please see the post by ALOU. That way you know what a real fan is.

  46. Let’s add a QB controversy to all the other problems the Skins are having!!

    COME ON, people!!!

  47. that what sucks about being a backup qb…two or three throws here and there…i re-watched the skins-bengals game last night…jason threw ok in the first 3 quarters. his 1st reads were wide open. twice he looked like he went with his 2nd read…but in the 4th quarter…butt cheeks seemed to tighten. threw into triple coverage…threw high…over threw receivers. similar to what matt wrote…completions all day long against the wind but can’t complete sheet when it comes down to it. that ‘s why jason looks “good” enough to make people not realize how bad he really is.

  48. “Danny on December 18th, 2008 at 8:48 am Said:
one thing Brunell had that Campbell doesnt is “no fear” remember the game against Dallas when he just bombed them to passes to Moss? Campbell doesnt have that fire never will! ”

Hey Danny, You do know its not Campbell that calls the plays, right? And speaking of bombs, please go watch the Redskins-Dallas game cause Moss caught a 40 yarder from Campell that day. Another game to watch is the Saints-Redskins, where Moss caught a 67 yarder. Talk about fire!!

The problem is not Campbell, the problem is JZ over-protecting Campbell. We lost a lot of games because our O Line sucks, and Zorn knows a QB needs time to throw the ball, so he calls plays with 2 WRs and 2 TEs to protect Campbell. Therefore, the WRs are always double covered, and Campbell needs to throw high above coverage. The reason why we keep losing is because JC doesn’t get enough chances to throw the ball and make completions. If the QB cant get into the zone (not the red zone), then the defenses will never be scared of the air attack. Zorn needs to turn JC into a slinger by calling aggressive plays (like shotgun formation on first and 10). That will open the line for Portis to run but if Zorn is calling protective plays the defense is gonna stack the box and we wont be able to run or throw.

Zorn please open the flood gates. Believe in Campbell and give him a chance to throw the deep ball.

  49. Team needs a spark. Needs energy.

Just curious,, why don’t I hear too many folks asking for Todd Collins to play? He did pretty good last year.

    team needs a spark, energy..from somewhere..anywhere.,,anyone.

  50. Watching Skins on TV here in Hawaii, I really can’t tell If Campbell is making all his reads or not. I think you gotta be at the game to really see that. Of course My football IQ is pretty low. Ok…my IQ is pretty low.

I do see that Campbell looks like an average QB with strong arm. Any thoughts on Collins as a QB?

  51. I think Zorn benched Jon Jansen earlier in the season after watching him practice, so if Collins was a better QB I dont think Zorn will hesitate to put him in. But Collins and Campbell are learning the West Coast Offense so I cant expect Collins to do a better job than JC (reason is Collins is old and you cant teach an old dog new tricks). Sorry to speak bad about Collins.

  52. Newbee,

Jason’s problem is that he gets flustered to easily!!! When this happens he reverts back to past habbits. He does hold the ball too long…He does telegraph his passes. When things get dire, he tries too hard to get the ball to Santana.

When we get a young and hungary O-line, you’ll see two destict thing happen. Portis will gain monster yardage, which will open up the passing game. Assuming, these things are accomplished, how well he performs will be entirely up to Jason.

  53. Skins Fan. ALOU: silly rabbits trix are for kids haha you guys are funny.

First off Skins Fan we can look at those games sure no doubt nice passes now what about the 2nd game against Dallas huh 2ints and JC did what? Didnt win the game at all which comes to my next point

ALOU you must be a TRUE IDIOT of course a team has other players and all the other bla bla bla you wrote! Moron now get thru this head if you dont have a good enough QB you wont win games! JC is not a GOOD QB and yeah I blame Zorn also but can you blame Zorn for the ints JC throws? NOPE SURE CANT! Yeah maybe he told him to run a play but you tell me which QB actually runs all the coaches plays? none at least the good ones! QBs who can read Ds and change plays to make yards instead he changes a pass to a run on a blitz and cut routes to a zone D please dont bring me any crap I BLAME JC and MORE THAN HALF THE REAL TRUE SKINS FANS AGREE WITH IT!

    CHECK MATE!!!!

POINT BLANK!: Yeah our line hasn’t been the best in the league pshh prolly one of the worst but this isn’t arena or european league a D will get to you if you stand there to long SMART QBs get rid of the ball thrown it away which brings me to this JCs time here is running really short……

  54. TO ALL COWBOY FANS! YOU HAVE NOT WON A PLAYOFF GAME FOR OVER 10 YEARS

  55. I mean no disrespect to Sammy. He was the best for his time. He was a gentleman!!

Sammy still holds the Redskin record for career touchdowns at 187!!

By todays standards that works out to 3.9 touchdown completions per game for 3 years.

If we could hold onto a better than average QB for 5 years, surely 187 is reachable!

  56. reading some of these comments makes me be depressed to be a skins fan.

CB is not ready. he won’t be ready next year either. JC is the QB for now and the future, so stop bitching about it.

It is not JZ or JC’s fault that the o-line is old, the d-line can get no pressure, our secondary can’t hold onto an INT, we fumble like crazy and take stupid penalties.

Anybody who thinks we have an abundance of offensive talent and should be putting up crazy points, obviously isn’t watching the same team I am. we have a #2 WR and like 4 #3-4 WRs on this team. we have a good TE who we can’t get the ball to in the red zone because other teams know he is our only option.

our WRs get no separation, and when they have a chance to make a play, they either drop the ball or run around like a chicken with his head cut off (ARE).

we just are not a very good football team right now, and the last thing we need to change is the head coach and the QB, because we will be in this same position AGAIN next year. i wouldn’t mind trying to bring in mike holmgren in some capacity next season though…

  57. DCHogs 77 passes being dropped could only be a problem if they actually got to the receivers. Normally with Jason on a slant they are 6 feet over their head or hit the receiver in the shoes. On the passes to the flat they generally one hop. And on the deep balls that never get deep enough, well you get the point. Any QB that has an ounce of talent and can throw a simple slant or out pattern would be an improvement regardless of what happens with the line.

Anyone that stays awake for the entire game would actually be an improvement, unlike Jason “dummy” hmm I mean “sleepy” hmm hmm I mean “Candle” Campbell.

  58. LennyM, you make it sound like Campbell is throwing bad on purpose.

  59. No its just lack of talent. You know we drafted him in the first round and kiper did not project him before the 3rd or 4th.

  60. I need to retract my last statement!! Brett Favre (qualifies as a better than average QB) has only averaged 1.64 TD receptions per game!!

Looks like a QB has to be really good or even great to average 2 or more TDs per game!!

  61. FINALLY SOMEONE ON HERE WHO KNOWS AND SEES THE TRUTH!

    HAIL LennyM

  62. the truth is that in order for us to grow out of the “MEDIUM” era we will need new presence in o-line and maybe QB because i can tell you something JC isnt ready I say put Collins to play next year klook at Collins for the Titans he really doesnt have a line and they easily in the playoffs maybe we should have done the same!

  63. I don’t have a line??? My old bones can barely move, I have one of the best lines in football. The line and my RB’s are the only reason I look any good.

  64. sweet

hey who thinks the lions suck?

  65. Your QB sucks and your head coach is coward that will never lead you to the superbowl……Start off the season 6-2 just to fall apart when they count. I can see the offseason now, Danny will go after every free agent out there with hope of improving his team…..We already know the ending to that story. Lose the head coach and QB then Deadskin fans might have some hope.

  66. I wonder if Wade Phillips will be available?
