View From On High

There are a lot of people here. I haven’t heard absolute numbers yet, but the previous training camp record was something like 25,000 and I’d be shocked if this isn’t at least close to that. Here’s what it looks like from the rooftop of Redskins Park.

Notice especially the people ringing the far field here.

In my week on the job, one of the first things I learned is that you NEVER see people ringing that field. The media ordinarily stands along the path by the near endzone of the field, and the coaches stand between the two fields, but never anyone besides a few security guys on the far side or along the treeline at the far endzone. So this looks doubly bizarre, beyond the impressive scope of the crowd.

  3. MY HUSBAND AND I WERE THERE-
IT WAS HOT AND HUMID & MANY PEOPLE WERE TAKEN AWAY BY THE RESCUE SQUAD.
    THE CROWD WAS HUGE!
    I MEAN UNBELIEVABLE!
THE TRIP FROM RICHMOND WAS DEFINITELY WORTH IT!! WE WERE IN LINE AT 10:15 AND IT ALREADY STRETCHED A COUPLE OF MILES.
LOOKS LIKE THE RED ZONE AND THE OFFENSIVE LINE COULD USE A LITTLE MORE PRACTICE-BUT RANDY THOMAS LOOKED STRONG!
    GO SKINS!!!
