Fans Being Appreciated

Post-scrimmage, the players did a terrific job of getting around and signing as many autographs as they could in the time allotted, at least from what I could see.

  1. Matt- way to fly from the crows nest to the field to provide pix!

  2. No JT? O well. Great pics!

  3. We tried to attend Fan Day but got stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. After traveling only 1 mile in 45 min. and still being 1 1/2 or 2 miles away from the park entrance we realized the festivities would probably be ending by the time we made it to a parking space. Friends who showed up ultra early said it was a mad house at the park with crazy long lines for food & restrooms and poor sight lines of the field–they said we didn’t miss much. What a mess! Why don’t the Redskins hold this at FEDEX? There is plenty of room, parking, facilities, etc. Draft Day at FedEx was a breeze to get in and out of. It doesn’t seem Redskins Park has the room to accommodate 28,000 or more people.

  4. omigosh! Our experience at Fan Day couldn’t be more different from Skins12th. We to to the park around 11:00am. Car lines were long but moving (we got from Loudoun Parkway to parking lot in about 30 minutes). Had to stand in a 15-minute line to get into the park. Once in, we only saw lines for food (we brought our own, so no big deal). No lines for the bathrooms. Sounds like the trick was to get there later rather than earlier. No action from the team until 1:15 or so anyway. We had a blast and the kids got autographs. GREAT DAY!!!

  5. MY HUSBAND AND I WERE THERE-
IT WAS HOT AND HUMID & MANY PEOPLE WERE TAKEN AWAY BY THE RESCUE SQUAD.
    THE CROWD WAS HUGE!
    I MEAN UNBELIEVABLE!
THE TRIP FROM RICHMOND WAS DEFINITELY WORTH IT!!
WE WERE IN LINE AT 10:15 AND IT ALREADY STRETCHED A COUPLE OF MILES.
WE BROUGHT OUT FOOD AND DRINK AND CAMPED OUT AS SOON AS WE GOT THERE.
    GOTTA LOVE THE CROWD!
LOOKS LIKE THE RED ZONE AND THE OFFENSIVE LINE COULD USE A LITTLE MORE PRACTICE-BUT RANDY THOMAS LOOKED STRONG!
    GO SKINS!!!
