Quick Update From Morning Practice

I’m not going to lie to you: I spent most of this morning’s practice wandering around in something not entirely unlike shellshock.  The pithy quotes, unusual insights, random questions, all those sort of bloggy things … they’re going to have to wait a day or so, I think.

That said, here’s a quick update in response to Old Hog’s question from the comments of the last post:

The D lineman who went down was Philip Daniels.  He suffered a knee injury of some kind during the first play of 7-on-7 drills, and was carted off the field, a towel draped over his face and a trainer with his hand on his knee.  According to Coach Zorn, it’s a possible knee hyperextension, but I’ll try to get some more details for you ASAP.

  1. Shellshock? How is that possible? You’ve been waiting around for players’ autographs since we were kids–this is no different! Good luck with training camp and breaking in your shoes …
